They are scammers!

I ordered a couch through Wayfair 2 weeks ago. The item still hasn't shipped. I emailed Wayfair to cancel the order and I got a confirmation number. I was emailed by a customer representative who didn't even acknowledge my cancelation. She said the item would ship soon. I told her I already canceled the order. She said I can't cancel and I'd have to wait until the couch arrived and pay hefty shipping costs to send return it. I told her I wanted to see it in writing where it says I can't cancel my order especially if it hasn't even shipped yet. She didn't respond but today I get an email saying the item has now shipped. I'm not paying shipping costs twice when you could've just canceled my order!!! I'm beyond pissed! This is unacceptable! I will be reaching beyond the customer rep to get this resolved if you do not resolve this issue now!

Return policy is bad

Be aware if you need to return anything to Wayfair you will lose money. My pillow cases cost $26.50. I tried to return the package unopened and was going to be refunded only $16. I will buy locally or on the big "A" going forward. Also this was all brought on due to a Wayfair website issue that didn't confirm my order until I had already purchased, opened and used nearly identical pillow cases from a local store for $12.99. There are better places to shop. Wayfair app has been removed from my life forever. Thankful I learned this with only a 26.59 loss and not ona. Larger expensive item. So wanted to share in hopes of helping avoid someone else's loss.

I purchased an adjustable bed then a mattress for the bed. I found one and purchased it, the mattress they sent me was the wrong one. I called wayfair and spoke with them. I could not get a mattress at that time because the cheap ones like I bought was all "sold out" or that is what I was told when I would call and ask about a mattress. There were three times I made a call like that, the second time the person I spoke to told me I would have to pay a larger amount for another mattress. I tried to explain to her that I live on a budget and could not afford more, but she said that was the only way it could be done, so I had to end up paying an extra $25.00, they sent me the mattress and it was not the right one, so again I am without my bed and trying to get my money back. I have since sent the next one back and waiting to get my back and they have not said anything about the extra $25.00 I had to pay for the extra. But now again I am waiting for my refund and have asked for a check and am waiting for the refund but again I have to wait. I feel this is the most unprofessional working group of people I have met. I need some answers,

Poor customer service

4 years ago I purchased a new home and bought most of my furniture, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans and many accessories from Wayfair. Customer service was amazing! If any item arrived damaged or I needed to exchange an item, it was resolve immediately. However when I make a purchase now no matter how small, I have to say it’s a huge hassle. I am given a case worker and have to go through them in order to resolve any issues which thankfully have not needed to do until my most resent purchase. I placed an order then decided against it so canceled within 24 hrs. I was sent an email stating that the item wouldn’t be shipped for over a week at the time of cancellation. I called and was assured it would be canceled within 2 business days. However 5 days later I was denied cancellation and they shipped the item. I had to continually make phone calls and could never reach the case worker assigned to me and left several messages but never a returned call. After threatening to call my credit card company to stop payment I got an email saying the item was refunded! I will not shop at wayfair again. It’s just too much trouble and if I have to correspond with a special case worker every time I place an order it’s not worth my time.

Be Ready for a Return Fee if Cancelling

Ordered a sectional to be delivered on May 5. Saw it was in a warehouse waiting to be combined with other orders and would not be able to get it until June 8!! A month later than when they told me it would be here!! I called and cancelled the order. She told me that since it had already been shipped, I would have to pay a return fee of $179!!! Which of course they charged me before issuing me the rest of the refund. I WILL NEVER TRUST THEM AGAIN!!!!!!

Ordered a chair next day the chair was 100.00 less I haven’t even received the chair yet so I called to get an adjustment they said they do not do adjustments that I should send the chair back after it is delivered they even gave me a return label. They not only lost a sale but a customer. Bad business!!

False advertising and unprofessional customer service

Soooooo bad. I bought a product based on the description. The product was very bad quality, and it did not even have all the features it claimed to have. When I contacted them about it, they said it was MY fault, since I was not using the product correctly. When I sent them back a picture showing that it was physically impossible for the product to have the feature, they didnt even responded back. But that is not all, after all of that, when you return it, you have to pay the delivery yourself, even when the product is falsely advertised in the first place. Avoid Wayfair!

With wayfair sometimes you hit and sometimes you miss. I've missed way more than I hit but kept going back not realizing that I was actually losing. You're not getting a good deal if they fail you more than 50% of the time. Wayfair, CANCELED!

Wayfair Professional Service

I came across the new division Wayfair Professional service that showed up via my Linkedin posting recently, as I was curious to find out about their newly advertised interior professionals services for sourcing FF&E and assisting project managing it. I was curious and provided my details for usual signup.
Within 2 hours, I received a phone call, which is pretty aggressive and obtrusive marketing, after speaking to the telemarketer, he pass me to a managerial business development person out of their HQ in Boston. The person was rude, and all she cared about was the amount of revenue that my business generate as a baseline on how much effort she is welling to put in. She then assigned a account manager, who reached out to me to schedule a 15 min. introduction call.
I just found out 15 min. ago that my appointment is now cancelled with the account manager. This is less than 24 hours notice and is extremely rude.
I am very disappointing and upset with this entire experience, as my time is very valuable and I will not recommend Wayfair for their service at all.

Terrible towels

I bought towels from Wayfair. When I washed the towels they basically fell apart. I complained and received a phone call the next day. I wanted to return them but was told that they would send a replacement set and they would not do that. I received the replacement set and the same thing happened. I expressed my concerns when I received a review and asked for a return label. Nothing happened. I did the same again. I called today and told it was too late to return them due to a 30 day return policy. My invoice number is *******961. Now I have two sets of towels which I am just going to have to throw away. Will never buy anything from Wayfair again!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I usually look at a companies reviews before purchasing their goods or services. Shame on me for not doing it here. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service team should all be fired. I’ve never seen the number of overall “1s” Amazing they are in business. Lies all around. No help. No integrity. No focused customer support. They actually have a selection on their website for “Expert Customer Support”. WHAT A JOKE

Why have filters on site when they don't work???
searching and filtering is deceptive - you think you are being shown counter height tables and find the perfect one but it is dining height. Have to feel relieved you caught it before the thing was shipped and you have a big hassle to get it returned.
